All the products from Surrey farms and most of the other products we supply are are organically and bio-sustainably farmed. On our farm, we use only natural fertilizers and well-water.
A sampling of Surrey Farms’ vegetable produce includes: spinach, arugula, endives, chicory, leeks, onions, sweet potatoes, fingerling potatoes, mushrooms, asparagus, eggplant, peaches, currents, gooseberries, salad greens, heirloom and hybrid tomatoes, butterfly bushes, herbs, lavender, squash, pumpkins, spaghetti squash, cucumber, Chinese vegetables, lettuce, collards, kale, Brazilian vegetables, cranberries, honey, jam, garlic, and a variety of “exotic” vegetables.
Our eggs come from chickens fed a daily ration of New England Organic Feed, All of our chickens are truly free-range, so they also enjoy field scratchings on the farm. They are never fed oyster shells or calcium. All their supplements come directly from Mother Nature.
Our lambs are born and raised in one of our barns in Brewster. They are nursed until they’re ready to graze free-range in our pastures on the edge of the Punkhorn Reservation.
